The ‘down to earth’ exhibit at the Hide Gallery in downtown Santa Cruz in 2006 was curated by Jennifer Pond. The vine series makes up the main focus of the exhibit and is composed of 324 individual parts that when arranged create 9 vertical vines shaped structures. The vine series studies the structure and fluidity of an organic form and suggests what vine vertebrae might look like. The exhibit was presented in three sections; seed pods, vines and flower buds which flowed down the length of the large wall of the gallery.
