ONLINE OPEN STUDIOS IS HAPPENING!

This weekend would of been the opening of the annual Santa Cruz County Open Studios events, which is not taking place for obvious reasons but you can still add new art to your collection!

While you can’t come visit my studio, sip wine and talk art with me in person this year, I have set up the online shop with brand new work from my Bone Series, see above for a sneak peek!

Since I need to make room in the studio for some bigger work coming down the line, I’ve put a bunch pieces on sale for one week only! October 1st – 7th only!

FREE local pick-up available at checkout!

Sculpture IS: 2020

The one art event of the covid season that you can actually attend in person (with social distancing and a mask of course!) is PVAC’s Sculpture IS: 2020 at Sierra Azul Gardens in Watsonville. The exhibit opens July 1st and the garden will be filled with sculptures and is a wonderful place to stretch your legs as you cruise through the gardens.

There will not be an opening reception this year for obvious reasons, but you can explore the show during normal business hours for Sierra Azul Nursery from July 1st – October 31st. I have 5 pieces from my Relic Series installed; they are ceramic rings tied with sinew and attached to slate bases. There are also just a few pieces from the Umbel Series hidden in the garden as well. Hope that you get a chance to check out my favorite show of the year!

Sculpture IS: 2019

Sculpture IS: In the Garden 2019, marks the thirteenth sculpture exhibit in partnership with Sierra Azul Nursery
and Garden. Visit the stunning two-acre demonstration garden, relax under the umbrellas, bring your picnic lunch, and spend an afternoon enjoying the exhibit.

Reminder! Closing of Take Aways: Art to Go!

Take advantage of your last opportunity to experience this exhibit chock full of fabulous local art work! New pieces have been added throughout the exhibit so there’s lots of new work to check out and make sure to purchase your raffle tickets.

A few of these collaborative necklaces made with my ceramics and Jamie Abbott’s metal parts are still available! And I have Rock Candy pieces available for mixing and matching to create your own composition of color! Hope to see you there!!!
